The Board voted to change the Rules and Regulations regarding Distance Professional Services (Telemental Health) requirements. The proposed changes are posted on the Secretary of State’s website at: https://www.sos.ms.gov/adminsearch/ACProposed/00024902b.pdf and were available for public comment. After the public comment time, the Board made minor edit to the proposed changes and have submitted those for review by the Occupational Licensing Review Commission (OLRC), made up of the Governor, the Secretary of State, and the Attorney General. The final submission to the OLRC can be found here. The Rules and Regulations are not final. These changes must be reviewed by the Occupational Licensing Review Commission The Commission will meet with the Board to discuss proposed changes according to the resolution.
